Dr. Higbee
​
Dr. Higbee grew up in the wonderful town of Alamo, Nevada. He values his roots and appreciates his family ties to both southern Nevada and Southern Utah. Dr. Higbee attended Southern Utah University where he played basketball and met his wife, Anne. After the Higbee’s completed their studies at SUU they went to Midwestern University in Arizona where Lance completed optometry school. After earning his degree Dr. Higbee served 3 years active duty in the USAF stationed at Nellis AFB, Nevada. When his service commitment was completed the Higbee’s decided to bring their family back to southern Utah and join up with Southern Utah Vision Care in Cedar City, UT. They are excited to settle down and raise their kids in this great community.
Accomplishments:
-Graduated Magna Cum Laude with BSC in Biology
-Earned membership in International Optometric Honor Society by achieving higher than 3.5 GPA at optometry school
-HPSP (Health Profession Scholarship Program) recipient through the USAF.
-Earned Company Grade Officer of the Quarter award at Nellis AFB.
